Thank you all for your lovely and uplifting comments... they do mean the world to me... we live in the country where it’s still safe to leave your front door unlocked and neighbors help Neighbors, not too familiar in other areas these days.. my Daddy always taught me growing up that you learn to love the land you live on and pretty much treasure it and by being at one with the country style life and land everything you ever need in life can be found on the farm, ie food we grew our own crops, Neighbors would share the burden of plowing and sowing seeds, if one neighbor in need we all kicked in, taking care of the wildlife that visit our lands daily and hunting for other types wildlife , rescuing animals in need of a good home, teaching us that life doesn’t hand us money on a silver platter.. and it’s what I’ve tried teach my kids and grandson .. even on the worse days of our lives (I’m a 3 time cancer survivor) going outside listening to the beauty of the birds song watching the deer come to eat studying the various birds that nest on our farm that there is always something to be grateful for.. many days I spent on our porch praying asking God Why all the challenges were being thrown at us but he always answered by allowing me to help others not to wallow in self pity... I met Luke in Missouri right after the Vegas massacre and I told him since I had survived gun violence 17 yrs prior being gunned down by unknown assailant that MUSIC heals and please keep singing as as music has provided hope on days I was at my worse... if any of you are ever in the mountains of Virginia let me know as some of the nicest ppl I’ve met are right here Luke’s fans 🎹🎧🐾🙏🏻❤️🦋⭐️😇🎼💚

Just as an FYI. My grandson in the video Karson 5 years old has chronic kidney failure and loves Luke.. there’s a story behind it.. Karson went into kidney failure in May unexpectedly was in coma 3 weeks we were told he would not survive.. called our son home from studies in South Africa to be with us as we kept vigil at his side one Day we turn on Luke’s HFE song which Karson loves and he woke up!! From that moment on we chronicled Karson’s progress daily by uploading videos to Luke social media and playing his music .. when Luke was in Roanoke Karson had tried win meet greet by shaking it for Luke but came in 2nd so he made a poster which Luke during the show stopped singing and acknowledged him and after the show brought Karson his song list for the night.. he is going be so excited!! Thanks to all and Luke we credit you with giving Karson his will to fight this disease!!
