Any Nashville peeps on here that could recommend a nice hotel to stay at that is close to everything? We are taking a trip there this summer - this will be our first time going! Thanks!

I live in Nashville. I suggest a hotel on West End. Cheaper than downtown but only a one to 2 minute drive to downtown. try Holiday Inn Vanderbilt, Hampton Inn, or Courtyard By Marriott.

opryland is really far from downtown. like 20 minutes on a major highway. and there's nothing else out there. we stayed at union station, which was a few blocks from the downtown. very nice. all of the places right in the downtown book up quick. even if you get a hotel over by vandy, it's just a short walk and probably much cheaper. Not sure if you like to walk. ubers are cheap and always available

It's Uber able distance. I stayed .08 of a mile frome Broadway Downtown and did Uber to the Opry and Gaylord. The County Music Hall of Fame Ryman Tootsies and many other sites are Downtown.

How far is the downtown area from Opryland?

Opryland is beautiful but not close to downtown. You will have to drive or taxi down to Broadway. My fave place "staggeringly" close to the action is the Courtyard by Marriot downtown.

Wow, glad I asked....Opryland was pretty booked already - we were able to reserve for the first week in August. So thank you again!!! Time to start another countdown 😊

I'd also recommend Opryland hotel, it is incredibly beautiful and a one of a kind experience but is also expensive.

We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and convention centre last summer and it was out of this world beautiful. You might want to check it out on the internet!
